May 2008

MIMMay started very promising, with lots of sun and summer temperatures. We thought that a bright summer would start, little did we know.
Doing sports came to a halt. I had started the year full of good intentions and was well on my way to run a decent 20km of Brussels when I started realising that the knee injury wouldn’t go away. It would take a while before we got a diagnose, and up to today… I believe they’re wrong. Knee starts feeling uncomfortable still when doing long walks. I really should go back to the GP and ask for an appointment with a specialist at the hospital… preferably have a good look inside to fix it once and for all. I wasn’t the only one with knee problems this year though.
Strobism of the vanitiesBored to tears without sports, I darkened a room and had a go at strobism and “double exposures”. It was fun and convinced me that I had to buy a proper flash (which I didn’t do until end October). Until today, I still use these pictures often as avatars.
